Dear Christian,

Awhile back, I read your book “finding the one” and have been meaning to send you a quick note.

First off, I really enjoyed reading it.  Though I had heard you teach most of the principles before, I found it really refreshing to read again.  Not only did the book help me gain a better perspective on dating, but generally encouraged my relationship with God as you firmly put that at the center of it all.  It was also fun to hear your voice (always trying to make jokes) in the book and recall memories from East Coast Aflame conferences and training school.  (God is starting to bring those charismatic elements of faith that I had forgotten about back into focus for me.)  Of course, what I didn’t always enjoy was that you didn’t offer too many easy answers.  I’m still struggling to find clarity in the storm of thoughts and emotions I have regarding my current relationship.  And I don’t like all the garbage in my own life that God keeps revealing to me.  Growing is a hard road.  

Well, before this turns into any more of a journal entry, I just wanted to say I enjoyed and appreciated the book.
